She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
This is one of my favorite scriptures.
I feel like this verse is Gods advice to me over the past few weeks!
Before my days as a single Mama I used to think this verse was just for wives. Very silly I know...But I felt like when I was no longer a wife that I would have to let this verse go.
But when your raising kids, you daily need strength, dignity, and an attitude of trusting God with your future.
So as a single Mama I look to this verse to guide and inspire my life.
Every morning, before me feet even hit the floor I pray for Strength. Strength to get through the day. Strength of mind and body.
Some mornings I need strength to lift my head off the pillow and start my day! I pray that My Heavenly Father will clothe me daily in His strength.
I can not make it through the day ahead on my own.
Dignity is defined as a quality of being worthy of honor or respect.
As women of God our Father is telling us to clothes ourselves everyday knowing our worth and value in Him. His love for me is unconditional and unchanging. I am His and I am worthy.
Because I belong to Him I don't have to worry about our Future.
My Heavenly Father tells me to laugh and be happy having no fear what so ever of what lies ahead. He has me and my sweet kidos in His hands. We are his children and He will provide for our needs.
Philippians 4:6-8 ~ Don’t worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks for what you have. And because you belong to Christ Jesus, God’s peace will stand guard over all your thoughts and feelings. His peace can do this far better than our human minds. Brothers and sisters, continue to think about what is good and worthy of praise. Think about what is true and honorable and right and pure and beautiful and respected
He picked me. He loved me. He wanted me.
I remember that beautiful day and how I felt like the happiest woman in the world. I was truly a blushing bride!
We all want to be picked, loved, and wanted right?
Of course we do!
For a long time my happiness was wrapped up in being loved by that wonderful man.
But over time, I watched the love that man had for me diminish.
And I watched my world turn upside down when that love was gone.
Who wanted me? Who loved me? Who would pick me?
I had to learn a hard lesson. A lesson of unconditional love.
You see, long before this man chose me there was another man.
And this other man knew me before I was born, He loved me before I was even a thought in this world.
So today is a day that I chose to celebrate Love. REAL Love.
I chose to celebrate the Love of my life that will never fade away.
The Love of my Heavenly Father, My Precious Savior.
He picked me. He Loves me. He wants Me.
God chose me. My life was not by chance, I was born with purpose.
My Sweet Savior Loves me. Unconditionally. For all Eternity.
He loves me enough to call me His own... A Daughter of the King.
Jesus Loves me as His Heavenly Father Loved Him.
We are told to continue in that love.
The love that He has for me will never fade away. There is nothing I can do to ever be separated from it. He is my protector, provider & friend.
He promises to never leave me and he loves me so much that He gave willing his life to provide a chance for me to be with him forever.
John 15:9
I have loved you as the Father has loved me. Now continue in my love.
