A conversation with My Savior this morning that went something like this: " Lord they are hurting" I said. Let it go. "Lord I am so angry because of the pain that's been caused" I said. Let it Go. Give them to me. " But God, they are my babies! They need me to protect them and shelter them. Do something! Take their hurt away, make life easier for them" I cried. You be their Mom. Let me be their God. I was shocked. Had I actually put myself so far above Gods Will that I thought I knew better then Him? Yes. I did. I knew what was best. I knew what God needed to do. I was Mom ! Ever Seeing and All Knowing....Right? Wrong. As Mama's when our kidos hurt we hurt. And when we can see the cause of their hurt Mama bear can come out in full force! We're mothers, its normal. God created mothers and knew that we would have these instincts with our children. He knew we would want to protect and love them unconditionally. Mothers could be a wonderful example of His love for His children. But we're not God. God calms me and says " Give them to Me". They are already His, I know that. He is their Heavenly Father. He feels their hurt, he gets angry at their offenders. He is in front of and behind them all the time. God goes into those places where us Single Mamas cant. With God our sweet kidos are never alone. Our prayers are a powerful tool and through the Holy Spirit they are never unprotected. They are never without Hope. He has the ability to shape every hurt into something amazing!! So the next time that ever seeing-all knowing- attitude comes up... Just remember. You be Mom. Let Him be God.

Thank YOU! As I sit here reading this I'm crying. It's so hard for me to give them to him, but yet they are HIS children. I am a fixer of ALL things, but I can't "fix" this, only HE can. So, I giving it all to GOD.

And that is exactly what our Heavenly Father WANTS us to do! Hand them over to Him with faith and trust :)

Thank you. It is so much easier said than done. I tell myself everyday...let go and let God. It gets easier with practice... I have a lot of practicing to do.

Your right, its not easy at all. Thankfully we can also pray and ask God to help us through theses times when were holding on. He will give us the strength to let go that us Mamas need ;)
